Dream Frog LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the Drumless mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: You can use the App as a guest without an account. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, name and an account identifier from that provider. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Practice Data: Your practice sessions, scores, progress and streaks are stored on our servers so they follow you across devices. Searches you type in the song library are sent to our servers to return results and are not stored.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics about how you use the App (e.g., songs played, features used, practice sessions). This data helps us improve the App and is processed through Google Firebase Analytics.
Audio Data: If you upload audio files or submit YouTube URLs, we process them on our servers to separate audio stems and generate drum notation. The songs you add, and the files we generate from them, are stored in your library and are not shared with third parties.
Microphone Data: The App may request microphone access for practice scoring features. Audio captured by the microphone is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Device Information: We collect device tokens for push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) and an app-generated device identifier for guest accounts. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.
Crash Reports: If the App crashes, a crash report with technical details (device model, operating system version, app version and the error) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics. Crash reports are not linked to your account.
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and secure token storage.
Authentication tokens on your device are stored using platform-specific secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the App (profile, then Delete account) or by email; see how to delete your account for the steps and exactly what is removed. Deletion is immediate. Backup copies are kept for disaster recovery only and are deleted after 90 days.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
